About the Instructor
Stephanie Albernaz is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth with a BS in Marketing and holds an M.Ed in Educational Leadership from Bridgewater State University.
She transitioned to the field of education as a Peer Mediation Coordinator for a large urban high school where she trained students in conflict resolution and how to successfully conduct mediations for their peers. She began her teaching career at an alternative high school teaching Career and Life Skills courses, GED courses for pregnant and parenting teens, and conflict resolution. She then was recruited by a large urban high school to teach Vocational Marketing courses and Business and Technology courses including Microsoft, Google, and Digital Media Design, where she also served as the Yearbook Advisor.
In 2017 Stephanie began working as an Instructional Technology Specialist in a vocational school district and in 2021 joined the Blue Hills team. She is a committed professional who is dedicated to education, technology, and works every day to contribute to a sustained positive culture where teachers and students feel safe, heard, and excited to learn.
