Qigong’s roots are in traditional Chinese medicine. Its goal is to cultivate and balance our life force energy or “Qi”. Qigong is a powerful antidote when joined with the breath to release stress and anxiety from our daily life to produce a calm state of mind. Qigong helps bring balance to Mind, Body and Spirit thru gentle slow-flowing movements designed to bring health and vitality to all that practice. Benefits can include improved immune system, better balance, lower blood pressure and deeper sleep. Class will end with a guided meditation. You will leave feeling relaxed, balanced and invigorated. This class is for all ages and fitness levels and is beneficial for all that attend. No equipment is needed, simply wear comfortable clothing.

About the Instructor:
Marie Freeman is a business professional who understands the pressures of balancing daily life, work and family. She started her journey in 1997 and has been hooked on energy work ever since. She is certified in QiGong, Chair and Restorative Yoga, Meditation, Acupressure and she’s a Reiki Master Teacher. She is also certified through the military to teach their “Warriors at Ease” yoga/meditation program to help veterans. She has trained with Masters Lee Holden, Ken Cohen and Judith Hanson Lasater, PhD to name just a few. She is the co-founder of Qigong for Inner Peace as a Teacher and Trainer. Her philosophy is to make each class as relaxing, informative and tailored to each student's needs as possible. In a world where so many of us experience stress, anxiety and illness let Marie show you a way to harness your own energy to feel alive, healthy and balanced. Movement is medicine.
